This one’s for you who have facebook account and would like to protect your own photos from being used…

Thanks to Cris’ post regarding this concern…I am now a li’l bit more unperturbed about an issue I’ve heard about this invasion of privacy. I’m not really certain that this really happens, but it’s best to sure about it.

Go and see the procedure in one of my blogger friends’ post and start feeling at ease with your fb account.

EYE-MO

I again felt the tired -itchy eyes that I often get due to continuous tv watching, pocketbook reading and blogging. My vision blurs, my eyes dries up, and it's itchy and heavy as well.
Pop advised the use of daily eye care and so bought myself EYE MO, and it worked!

REVISITING

I was revisiting a blogger friend, Shinade , and was very pleased with one of her posts. It's really cool, and told her so. It's different, and as per her title it's fun!

She have there a juke box for specified years for visitors to enjoy. I for one chose the year 1976, and listened to songs my mother most probably were listening to while she carries me around=)

MORE TEARS FOR MJ

The 30th Anniversary Tribute for Michael Jackson once again brought tears to my eyes especially when he took over the stage and made me almost howl in his Billie Jeans outstanding performance. I felt a heart piercing pain in my chest as I see him so alive…and the only thing I can say then and there is “there really is no other like him!”

Its hard for it to really sink in, but I’ve accepted the fact that I wouldn’t ever have the chance to see him perform live on stage. That one time world tour concert that included our country in 1996 should have been my chance if only I have my sources then to buy myself a ticket. How very unfortunate…how very regretful.

“THOU WHO TAKEST AWAY…”

Yet again, I am reminded of the frailty of our earth life. That we have no control over it no matter how much wealth we have gained, how high we climbed the ladder of success, or how shiny our name is to others. Life simply is not in our hands!

A sister to the wife of the brother of my mother’s father, known to many as Tita Claire, passed away just 3 days ago. (Have you worked out yet who she is to me? Hehehe) In relation, she’s not blood related…but in respect she’s a grandmother-on-the-other-side. With others maybe, it should be next to nothing…but to me she’s a grandma and a friend.

A few years back, Tita Claire’s husband was a patient whose formula feeding I personally monitored, and coordinated with the attending physician. Though we acknowledge each other during big gatherings before, we didn’t get acquainted as we are during those trying times. If she’s a little strict and snob in others perspective, to me she’s sweet. And so, this sudden passing shook me into wakefulness… for neglecting paying her a visit (and so with other friends and relatives) after so many years. Now it’s too late. She had an unexpected heart attack that even her closest kin hadn’t anticipated. Just as it did to Michael Jackson…but this time we knew each other, and there’s the possibility of seeing her prior to the incident since she’s just a few hours away from me and not an airplane away.

AN ADVICE: do your thing TODAY not tomorrow. Call an old friend, send letters to long lost loved ones, visit people who matters while you still can. Life is too short. It may be taken away from them or from you by “thou who takest away…”

BLOGGER FRIENDS

Need to post this in my 3 blogs...i wanna make sure all of you, my blogger friends, come across this, it's for you:

I love people…and I especially love those who are selflessly giving a part of them. That’s why this blogging really works out for me. It makes me happy to know a lot of people, and know them and who they really are through their thoughts.

This morning, 2 new friends made me smile being the firsts in my two blogs to leave me a comment…as I posted below.

Thanks to all of YOU who makes me appreciate life even more with your presence even just here in our common site; and thanks to all of YOU who encourages me to positively think that how ever bad the world is turning out to be, there are still a great many numbers of like you who are amongst the good!

Our blogs differ still. There’s the difference in way of sharing and the difference in way of helping. Right now, I have one that is recently in mind on how he, Ferdi, contributes to newbies like me. I am actually just been trying to decipher what PR means, and there he is…discussing it in his blog! He posted detailed information that made me understand how the links helps in our PR…really helpful! But the thing is…he’s sharing!=) Go check out his blog too!

MY LI’L ARTIST

At the age of 3, Anya’s capable of enthralling an observer with her artistry. She draws well, she color and paints well.

She started with her drawings at an early age. The very first time she held her crayons, she did so the right way. And so provided her with necessary things and that encouraged her even more. It started with the basic shapes, then to houses and mountains…now she even drew complicated pictures of animals like whales, horses…etc. Her stick people already evolved to princesses in gowns.

Most often she practices with her drawings in her Magic Board.

Her imagination captures what she saw in tv as well. My dad even said she might have his mom’s photographic memory. That’s marvelous, don’t you think?!

ACHING HEART

I am reposting this from my other blog, Life 'round You&Me:
Since June 25th, the feeling of loss is within me. And the memorial service made me gloomy all the more. Michael Jackson was not just a music icon, not just a king of pop…he was larger than life! My tears kept flowing throughout the service, more so with each revelation those close to him shared that is not known to all.

Personally, I salute him for the obvious effort he gave to show people in need that there is someone out there who cares a lot. And in his own special way he reached out. In as much as he can, he gave. That his life (being where he was) was not all fame. He gave a part of that life to charity. He made history with his selfless act of uniting black and whites; he paved a way for the government to reach out more arms to the major population; he gave happiness to children by making possible a little dream to come true with a “Neverland” (of all the billionaires in this world, who ever did think of such and make it happen? No one!); or even as simple as being visible in places individuals flee from in fear of their lives to somehow ease the victim’s pain and loneliness.

Don’t you think it is a loss? A BIG loss!

TOTAL FORGIVENESS IN RELATION TO STUPIDITY

It is ONLY my presumption that single parents (like me) can mostly be classified under this connotation…of common stupidity when it comes to the other parent of her child. Primarily is the very presence of such concern, being a single parent, why you’re in this position in the first place. Secondarily, after reaching point of total forgiveness, there is even the possibility of either a second chance, or as for me, a teensy weensy hope for it even if just for the sake of the kid.

The very thought of allowing ourselves be a victim of another injustice is nothing but stupidity. Moreso, when there is every chance that not only us who may get affected, but also the greater important, our child.

But then again, do you think it is stupidity? Or just plain natural desire to unite a family as was human nature? Will the risk be worthwhile or just a waste of time? How do I know?

HELP ANYONE!!!

I'm having problems with my "COMMENTS" BOX and I can't find what could be wrong=(.

Help me? my SHOUT BOX is working, leave me an SOS message??? pleassseee....

RAIN, RAIN COME TODAY…

Nothing I'll welcome more today than RAIN. A heavy downpour if possible! The heat is just way too unbearable to the extent…though the clothes in the line is very much happy with the sun, I am not!

Maybe I’ll just mix myself an ice cold cappuccino to calm nerves somehow. I’ve been in the shower 3x already in just a span of 6 hours from the time I woke up and wanted to stay there forever. I am now playing the cool BOSSA to make up with the frustrating humidity.

Though, to tell you frankly, I sense a possible transformation soon…if I’m not mistaken, the clouds are getting kindda dark. And so, help me sing “rain, rain come today…come today not another day”! hehehe

"a perdurable a day, helps you sleep, work and play"...JUST A THING TO SHARE ;)

MY GOLDILOCK’S CAKE

2 days past my birthday and I’m still partaking my cake. It’s loaded with calories, I know, but I can’t help it. Good thing it isn’t my favorite Red Ribbon mango chiffon, Estrell’s caramel cake or SugarHouse delights, or I may have consumed the whole of it in one sitting.

Still this one I am having on my seconds is heavenly to the extreme. Not too sweet for my taste and the cake in itself is a soft mouth watering chiffon.

I’m now having the cake…and Anya’s having the flowers.

FAST INCREASING NUMBER OF NIECES

First cousin Tania was the first to give me a niece, Cadence Marlie. She’s already 2nd cousin to my li’l Anya. A year after Alexine of cousin Abby came, just 5 days ahead of Tania’s 2nd child, Stella Cherie.

Our clan calls this early part of the year the “Baby Boom Year”…because apart from my 1st cousins, 3 of my 2nd cousins also gave birth this month.

In a blink…baby’s came popping out, and soon, they’ll all be the aunts, and we’ll be the grans.

NO SPACE TO GET THE BLUES

Years come and go at such a speed that I get to say, “it’s mother’s day once again?” And I feel the same yesterday that I’m another year older once again, way to fast to even have time to get the blues .

With so much blessing, who's to have the so-called birthday blues?!
True, we live at a fast pace these days. It’s almost like the every minute tick of the clock now do so at the speed of a second. And so, every minute of our lives should COUNT! Let it matter. Seize the day!
