MATTERS OF THE HEART

This is one topic every individual is touched, may it be as soft as a feather or as hard as a baseball bat in the head. Well, that depends if you’re a spinster with a deep reason for “trying” to do away with it or you’re a normal individual.

BUT we were all made out of love (our Creator), and so we are essentially oozing with love inside us. And everything around us is connected with it. Even the way you choose what to eat denotes your love for food, our need to exercise is an expression of loving our body,…of taking care of our family, our surroundings, our pets. Everything we do—is love. Even our being a bachelor, as previously mentioned, is a manifestation of loving ourselves and/or others for fear of what a relationship may generate.

It’s rubbish for one to try and live without this so-called LOVE when it is as natural as us breathing. Benefit from it instead of missing out on it! Live freely…you only need one thing…BRAVADO!

This LOVE THING will be the focus of my heartQUAKES and you are all invited to take a peek, and witness the love in all directions.

I WISH...

When I was a little girl, I remember wishing to be a full grown lady. Seeing those well dressed women walking near our place as they hurry to their work early mornings, I see their beautiful faces with paints and colors. I envy them wearing dresses like my Barbie dolls; shoes that make them look real chic as they glide along in those sticks attached to their soles. I even take a peek on my mom’s drawer for the different ornaments she herself wear when she goes to the office. How I wished to be so grown-up that I can be in the kitchen without them saying “run a long and play in the family room” nor will anyone force me out of my bed to go ride my school bus. I’ve wondered so long, “When will I ever grow up to be like mom?”

Not long after, I am here wishing I can turn back time and be the little girl everybody wants to care for. When adults do their best to get a kiss from you, when they carry you up when you’re tired from walking the mall, when they clean you up at night when you’re so sleepy you don’t have the energy to do so…when you don’t have to think of anything else but PLAY.

This is where people’s discontentment comes in. What we Filipino’s call “Sala sa init, sala sa lamig”. You don’t know where you really want to be. Now, one thing I am sure of, I want to be able to reach the perfect place where there will be NOTHING to wish for anymore because you have it all…HEAVEN! =)
