THREAD MAGIC

We see rainbow colors of threads, but it is nothing as it is. Just plain ball of yarn your kitten can play with. Yes, nothing as it is…but you can make it more than just it.

The art of cross-stitching have once hit the country in full blast. Every girl have her own pattern to follow to make into a work of art. Angels, flowers, things of sorts in frame after a few days of stitching.

Before that craze came crochets. Bags, sweaters, table covers, curtains…name it we have it. And this time it does no
t all end in threads or yarns. What started as weaving them into cloth making dresses and blankets, and ended up weaving rattans into baskets, and so much more. And guess what, they were exported and have been in many other countries for decades now, maybe centuries even, and I’m proud to say they were Philippine made!
