"I wear my sunglasses at night, so I can, so I can, Keep track of the visions in my eyes" goes Corey Heart's famous song. And each time I see someone without sunglasses, I sing this song to them as primer to my advice to wear one to protect their eyes from the sun.

Yes, we do have to wear one when we go out into the sun if we don't want to hurt our eyes with the sun rays and in the long run do damage that have to be reversed with surgery or treatments that costs a fortune. And as further damage is done to the ozone layer, the need to wear it now includes more than just the high noon years ago. Fashion experts predicts to have more to wait for for this year. That though it is vastly heard that there is world crisis, this will not affect release of trendy outfits. And as they scrutinize this generations cravings and desires, they promise to infuse sex and skin in the styles though "classically inspired".

NEW LOOK

A year ago I was window shopping in the famous Mega Mall along EDSA in the heart of the city when I fell in love with this white frame lenses. I had it matched with my 100/100 vision and voila! Everybody sees and recognizes me even from afar. And they love it as well.

And a year before that I was called Lois Lane for the black frame I used, but not really just because of the glasses but also the short hair I sported along with it.

Eye glasses may be nuisance for some but only because they have not used its other purpose of being an identity and fashion. You can have as many pair of glasses as you can with the appropriate lens, with or without grade actually. Have some that will match your personality or your identity for the day. Be it sporty, professional, casual, and dressy or whatever looks…have one to create a whole new image each time.

Right now, I am planning to look around once again to whatever will best suit me. I remembered seeing this wonderful frame that makes me look like a “Koreana”. Cool!
