There is nothing more fulfilling and inviting than hearing encouraging words from your mom. Children or adults alike, still feels good hearing praises from others, more so from a parent. It’s human nature to look up to your parents, unless during childhood you were given reasons not to. They were the only people we first hear while we’re mere fetuses inside the womb, and so depend on that voice for years as we grow. We believe that everything that voice says is right, and it makes us happy to hear it sounding pleased because of our doing. And knowing this, we should also do it in turn to our love ones. To our very own child that now depends on OUR voice.
And positive words give positive results; negative words, negative results. Words should then not be used to inflict pain, because like physical blows, it will also be conceived as abuse to be slashing on your kids with hurtful words. Be free-giving with encouragement, but not to the extent of spoiling. Remember that ANYTHING in excess is not good. So be true, but be sensitive and conscious as well.
