The excitement of having a baby is not only for first time moms, but also for first time dads. Theya re as jittery for this new life change and as unsure of the what's and how's of being a parent. Often thy know their responsibilities, their desires for care of the unborn child and their plans for th future but they don't know where to begin nor they are confident to them into action.
And so involving them in every stage and development will put them into perspective somehow. They will then get used to the fact that they are going to be or is now a father. Include them in your OB visitations and in your shopping for baby things. Let the unknown world of being a parent be revealed to them and grab this chance of creating stornger bond between husband and wife. Reveling in this onset of a family life together will touch both ends' vulnerability and the love for one another will yet again blossom to greater heights. The proof of that love will soon be out in the world, prepare and welcome it together...because he or she is both a part of you and him.
