I woke up this morning feeling light and happy. Because I had this dream of being with my friends and having fun as we used to.
Most of my best buddies already are in another part of the world and I TRULY MISS THEM. But then there are some left here in the country with me. Unfortunately, we all have different responsibilities already that more often than not, we spend our times doing those than being with each other as how it was during school days.
STILL...i believe that we should have time for them. And it's not just for them but for ourselves as well. We cannot just always do things for our love ones. Yes they are the primary reason for living but we can also live with a few hours of that life for ourselves. And being with our friends will be the best time to use it. I am guilty of this neglect, and just yesterday was shaken out of the trance of living in a routine for the past 5 years. "I will have time for me and my friends!" I hope to do so monthly or at least once every two weeks. If only our free times will meet now that almost everybody have our own families.
I guess it's a matter of trying. Glad to say that this coming weekend I will be spending half a day with a long lost friend during elementary and half a day with my high school friends. I wish I can also have time with my college friends since they are the closest to me though the others are already in Canada and US. And hopefully, I can find new friends in my newly found circle here in the blogosphere, in my church, in my wedding part-time and in my upcoming employment in a Telecommunication company. THE IMPORTANT THING IS FOR ME TO RECONNECT THE BRIDGES THAT BROKE WITH TIME.
