Those medical scrubs and uniforms actually were specifically made for comfort. When you work in a fast pace environment where you need to move freely and fast, you need to wear something that will be comfortable and will not get in your way. And that is one reason why I use my previous hospital scrub uniform now as my pajamas. Hahaha. Let this be our secret, okay? They are so unrestricting that you almost feel like you are not wearing anything.
Likewise, in the hospital setting, when you need to run, squat, go atop a gurney, reach high or low objects it is a must that you can do so without hearing a rip or to restrict you enough to cost you more time in doing so. Life is at stake at the hospital and you cannot risk missing a minute before doing something especially during emergency situations. It is therefore mighty commendable that the nursing uniforms have changed from all whites in skirt to these srub tops and pants. If you are in such a setting and scrub is not yet in use...let them try it. Advantages beats one sole disadvantage of disregarding the old fashioned pretty nurse attire.
