Have you heard of this latest income generating scheme Filipino’s have wittingly started just recently? People have varying reactions to it…
Some got thrilled with it, and gave thumbs-up for this chance to put the wheels in motion in search of their better halves. It is a chance to meet a probable mate that probably is not passing by your way. Today, it’s not “waiting” any more but “searching”. And it’s not limited to the male population, because the ladies now have the same rights and incentives as men. Sexism has been shaken centuries ago.
Then again, there are always two opposing poles thus some do not find such scheme acceptable. I for one do not TOTALLY go with it, but not also against it. It’s just that the world have changed. You see more and more of the nightmares than fulfilled dreams. This puts the women more at risk to violence and harassment. Imagine meeting an unknown individual! It will not be disclosed to you if this certain man has murder instincts, if hereditarily insane or whatever negative trait anyone can have. There will be no guarantee in anyway that you will suit, nor any guarantee that you will not be harmed. So why put yourself at risk when you can meet possible mates through friends and relatives?
It’s up to you…because meeting your better half is for others, a chance; and for others, destiny. Some call it luck, some call it divine intervention. Do you need to push it with such schemes you have to pay for? Or maybe it is the only way since you don’t have such big a circle of friends; that this scheme provides you more choices and chance with who matches you.
