AWAKENING TRUTH THAT YOUR BABY IS GROWING

I know…”how time flies!” And having a baby, you can hear yourself say this even more frequently than when you had none. Simply because now you can measure how fast it is through your baby’s growth and development.

Honestly, I hate to see my baby not being a baby anymore. If only I can stop the hands of time and extend the time of caring for her, cuddling her, playing with her…and simply her being a baby and not a kid yet, I would. But time really is catching up with me. And just recently, I was yet again reminded that my little one is not so little anymore when I took her outside be kissed by the sun and watched her play a whole new different game. A more active game than what she used to play, a game played by kids and not by babies…a game we call “piko” (step-no).

It both gave smile to my lips with the joy of her normalcy and development; and a mental shake of my head with a little twist in my heart knowing my baby has really grown. Every mother is vulnerable when it comes to their kids, and there really comes a time you both want to hope that time is not that fast and want to be glad also that your kid is growing just in time.

Gladly, I am aware of this fact every single day and so makes the most of the chance given me to live and enjoy with the love of my life, my baby, my kid! Let not a wonderful day or event in your child’s life pass you by. Be a part of it every second of your every day, if you can.

so true. i still remember the moment i first saw my baby in the hospital. she was so tiny. now she's beginning to walk around her playpen. it's good that our babies are growing at the normal rate. :)

I don't have kids but I remember when I was a child and my sister was born, she grow so fast that you couldn't believe it, I am 6 years older than my sister so I remember very well since the moment my mother got pregnant, the moment she was born, and in her first year she grow so much that you couldn't even believe it. I was so exited to have a sister, by the way, I love your blog

I know exactly what you mean. It only seems like yesterday that my boys were babies and now they are playing soccer and running around being boys - robust boys I might add, lol.
