DO YOU PREFER MODERN OR OLD FASHIONED FURNITURE?

A house is not a home. It needs family and love. And there's no place like home. So we make it a point to make it a happy place that is filled with loving and caring. At the same time we make sure it is livable, comfortable, cozy and warm.

Your personal touch on it makes it your house. Whether you want it old fashioned or modern... it doesn't matter. As long as you and everyone else loves it to be that way. From the Dining Room Furniture to the bedroom, kitchen, down to the garage, your preference counts. You design it as you design how you want your lives to be. I am modern, and so I view my own place to be modern. I am comfortable with it. I feel happy with white and black, thin and tall, glass, metal and silver. Probably my portions of the house will have such colors, but the bedrooms would be different. My little ones bedroom/playroom would be bright and colorful. Its like being transported to another dimension but knows it would still would be nice. The porch would be green and brown probably, i love nature as well.

MODERN LIVING

Lifestyle Network is one of my favorite channels, and more often than not, I dream as I watch. Dream of the life I want to have; my very own house and how to decorate it; my kitchen and what to cook for dinner; my family and every little thing one can daydream about. But what never changes is the modern furniture I want in my place. I’m not the type to prefer antiques or bulky decorations. I want it neat, simple and modern; from my leather sofa and thin lights in the living room (no to chandeliers), steel kitchen and dining table, to my very bathrooms and bedroom…I want it all modern.

Having a decorator will ease the planning, the matching and the budget but there will never be a problem to ideas since there are sites already to help you in one click. It’s not like before that you have to go around the malls and warehouses to see for yourself what you MIGHT want. Then you have to choose colors of your sofa from scraps and pieces of the cover they have; match it with the curtains that you also have to personally see choosing from one design to another, and so on and so forth. How glad am I that I belong to this era of computers…though I am still at the “dreaming” phase (LOL)! At least I get to see them now without people knowing that you actually are doing so just for your dream.
